It’s a scam. The funny haired guy, Benny Hin, had his progress tracked with all the people he healed with so called terminal illnesses. The average time to death for these people was 9 months, as was the average for most of the people who had these diseases that didn’t see him.

I personally think all TV preachers are idiots. They ARE scammers and they ARE NOT preaching the Word of God correctly.
They are using their PROFESSION (NOT FAITH) to make MONEY instead of actually following the lifestyle that Christians are direct to by the Bible.

My great grandma used to watch Benny Hinn faith heal people on tv. She was on a fixed income and pretty poor but she sent him a check for 10 dollars every month. She really truly believed that crap. As a little kid even I knew it was a scam but I didn’t want to break my grandmas heart.

It’s similar to hypnosis, even some of my fellow atheists (doing research) have admitted to a weird tendency to want to fall.
But then, what better way to identify suckers than getting those who already think fairy tales are real?

You really want to exploit their faith? Start a Christian rock band, just make some cheap music and add Jesus related lyrics, they lap it up like crazy.

I think of Benny Hinn is great. Even P.T Barnum would agree.

It’s a scam. The power of sugestion makes them all respond by falling backwards and being healed much like a placebo would.
(You need to look up the Benny Hinn music video to Let the Bodies Hit the Floor. It’s priceless.)

I think its the funniest thing. Yea, the power of God is in spring water, or better yet, a green cloth! What a bunch of losers.

Go into Forbes list of 400 richest men in America. All TV evangelists are on there. I would faint and fall down to if I made that much money. They are all paid actors it is a show.
That are some of the highest paid actors in the history of television. It is a scam and people believe for some reason is they sent money to rich people god will make them rich.
Can’t believe anyone would fall for that but they do.
Olson in his feel good ministry doesn’t use the bible.
so he doesn’t even have to know anything and he is the richest of them all.
I get the feeling he says if you have a arrow sticking out of your chest be happy. Wear it with pride. Now send me money.

Its sad really. God CAN heal us by faith. Alot of television preachers are charlatans. Out to make a buck! We should pray for all involved, not make fun.

As strange as may seem there are people capable of laying on the hands and healing some sicknesses, they are scattered around the world and do not seek public attention, or compensation. This is what Yeshua/Jesus did! It is accomplished by imposing your thoughts of love and healing into their minds, this is how he gathered followers.

With crap like that, it’s easy to see why some choose NOT to believe in God or Jesus.
They are an embarassment to the word Christianity.
And then again, it’s good that they are exposed for the clowns that they are.

It’s all a scam. For the very few who do get healed or can heal, it is not by the hand of Jehovah God, but that of Satan.
Take note of Jesus words @ Matt. 7:22-23
22.)Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perfom many powerful works in your name?
23.) And yet I will confess to them: I never knew you! Get away from me you workers of lawlessness.

It is a scam.
It is not of God. God does not cause them to fall.
I don’t believe it and I believe in God.
What they do is not even scriptural.

First, I would like to apologize on behalf of every Christian, who has not acted like Christ. Gandhi once said something to the affect of I like your Christ, but I do not like your Christians. Unfortunately, Christians are sometimes, even often, deserving of this label. I know that I have been in the past, and I’m horribly sorry. If you’ve been hurt by a Christian, know that Jesus does not judge you, does not hate you, and will never hurt you. Please don’t reject God because of a misguided follower.
Now concerning large TV healing ministries. Probably some of them are scams. However, healing is very real. My aunt was healed of diabetes. A member of my immediate family was healed of a twitch. Prophecy is also real. I have received four prophetic words in the span of four months, from four separate people who did not know each other, saying the exact same thing. Only two of them knew me personally.
However, it is probable that some (I doubt all, but some) of the high-profile TV faith healers are scams. They will someday have to face God for what they’ve done. For the genuine thing, check out Bill Johnson at Bethel Church in Redding, California. He’s not a TV faith-healer, but his ministry has produced prolific fruit and many, many people have been healed there.
