Instead of wasting your time calling the companies, send a letter to your credit card company disputing the excess charges. The credit card companies see these scams all the time.
You may want to send letters to the companies telling them to cancel whatever membership you signed up for.

that is what I thought, when a company keeps putting ads on tv, they try to get you to buy it. there is one ad I see all the time also. the one that wants you to send them your old jewelry a they will send you money back. I don’t think so, once they get your things I don’t think you get any money back. I would not even send them anything. we have to be careful when they say free or just pay for shipping and handling. hope you win. yes they are scam companies. and it makes it bad for the good companies

Actually, when you called up to order Video Professor, the kind person on the other end probably talked so fast running through a script that they have on a computer monitor..that they talked you into what is called an *upsell*. Also, a lot of these trial offers will send more stuff if you don’t grasp the fact you need to cancel before the trial period is up.
Anytime they say we want you to try this product so bad because we know you are going to love it…and we are just going to offer it to you for S H…expect sneaky charges …LOL
